The Bahà’ì Faith
"The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens." Baha'u'llah, Founder of Baha'i Faith.
The entire universe - from the smallest atom, to the cells in our bodies or the largest galaxy - all adhere to a guiding principle. This principle states that everything has a conscious desire to improve itself and to reach the highest point of its potential.
Not only has everything in this existence been meticulously created but the laws which govern them indicate that there must be a higher intelligence with an organizational ability.
For millenniums, generations of humanity have sought to find the purpose of their existence and the direction their lives should take.
Just as our societies have evolved and changed, growing to make new forms of social interaction, technological advances and scientific discovery, so our spiritual faith needs to be renewed and encouraged, ready for new insights which will help us grow into a mature race of beings which can progress and live in harmony.
The Bahà’ì Faith is the latest Guidance in this progressive connection - a connection offered by a Creator, through the Founders of the World’s Faiths, to humanity.
Throughout recorded history mankind has been given guidance. Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad and the Bàb were the instigators of new faiths which we knew as religions.
The latest Messenger of God is Bahà’u’llàh, who lived during the 19th century.
The Messengers all reiterated the same truth - that we should love God and love one another and mankind should be honest, truthful, kind, trustworthy and humble.
Only the social teachings of each religion were different: This is because they were meant for a particular time and place.
Now we are all part of a world society and new laws are necessary.
“The Great Being saith: O ye children of men! The fundamental purpose animating the Faith of God and His Religion is to safeguard the interests and promote the unity of the human race, and to foster the spirit of love and fellowship amongst man…”
The Bahà’ì Faith represents a distinctive unification of spiritual thought and ask us all, as individuals, communities and members of a global society to consult and work together to help make life better for ourselves and for everyone.

Plan International
For over 25 years, we have supported Plan International by contributing to the welfare of foster Children in areas of the world which are stuck in ignorance and poverty. Teachers, doctors, builders, agriculture specialists and others, are sent to various parts of the world to build and transform communities. By providing financial assistance to children trapped by poverty, their parents and siblings also benefit. Houses, schools, jobs, clean water, food and healthcare are provided for the whole community.
Wells are dug and organic foods are harvested. The locals don't just receive the benefits, they also are taught how to become self- sufficient and self-reliant.

Star Trek
The Star Trek TV series and movies depicted a positive future for humanity, progressing firstly to achieve world unity, then exploring new life and new civilizations. It also showed the ethical, moral and spiritual challenges which sprung from new science, technology and awareness.
An enlightened humanity may, or may not, necessarily follow this path. Nevertheless it gives a possible view of what may be ahead of us.
